The National Empowerment Center on the West Coast (NEC-West) began as a series of teleconferences between Dan Fisher of the National Empowerment Center and consumer/survivor/ex-patient (c/s/x) leaders on the West Coast. Those teleconferences evolved into forums that promoted discussion and an exchange of ideas between c/s/x on a variety of topics. We hope to continue these teleconferences when funding permits.
